Last spring I did Art Direction and Production on this campaign for Washoe County Social Services – Child Adoption Services. We developed this campaign on a shoe-string budget and though the campaign turned out nice, it was even better when the campaign significantly increased foster family applications in Washoe County. The campaign was called “have a heart”. We created outdoor boards, print ads, a television spot and a landing page that directs people to the appropriate sections of the Washoe County website. This campaign won a Silver ADDY in the public service category at the A2N2 2008 ADDY Awards.

I was one of the designers that worked on this campaign for Nevada State Bank. Nevada State Bank wanted to show that they had all the “Big Bank Products” that small businesses need, no matter which stage of the product life cycle their companies happened to be in. The ads begin with “Startup” continue to “Maturity”, ” High Growth” and finally “Renewal”. The ads show Bill Martin the then CEO and President of Nevada State Bank personally helping these small businesses meet their goals. At the time Bill Martin was the face of the NSB brand, so we figured what better way to show that NSB has the right products for small business than to show Bill Martin helping these small business owners.
